This guitar was made in 2009 from Luis Feu de Mesquita's workshop for a client's custom order. Luis Feu de Mesquita is a Luthier of high standards, and makes only perfect mastergrade guitars. This Crossover nylon Maccaferri style guitar is in mint condition. It features solid figured maple back and sides, western red cedar top with a slight carve, two piece flame maple neck with Rosewood insert, Figured hawaiian koa binding, flattened "c" neck profile, a flattened but completely flat radius fingerboard, 51mm (2") nut width, 650mm (25.5") scale length, 59mm (2 5/16") strings spacing at the saddle. It has flamed koa Headstock overlay and stylish matching truss-rod cover, gold hardware including grover tuners. This is might comfortable playing guitar, the neck joins at the 12th fret to body. The koa bound ebony fingerboard hasn't dots, only side dots, the cutaway allows for access up to the 20th fret fingerboard. The guitar has bone nut and saddle. Luis's guitars are extraordinary in tone, and this one is no exception. The guitar includes a deluxe Hiscox Artist case. Our workshop installed the Carlos VIP pickup with special dual sensor. It sounds amazing when amplified.
