G-LAB Guitar System Controller GSC ()

Modern music forces guitar players to apply various electric guitar effects. In consequence, a lot of players have a collection of different equipment: pedal effects (stomp box) - single or multi ones, pre-amps, amps, etc. The necessity to switch between various effects appears not only between different songs played but also during a particular song. Switching between effects and adjusting their proper settings (collectively called presets) is relatively difficult to operate (necessity to press several footswitches and/or to turn the knobs and press switches or buttons at the same time). After some time the problem of switching and setting effects limits the performance and creative capacities (it is useless to create performances which can't be realised). The Guitar System Controller is an analog device designed to enable easy selection of a preset from the wide range of offered ones by pressing just a single footswitch. At the same time the GSC improves the comfort of use and sound quality. The GSC enables the further development of a guitar system.

G-LAB Guitar System Controller GSC-2 ()

There are available two versions of the controller with different footswitches. The GSC-3 model with metal footswitches and backlighted descriptions and the GSC-2 model with silent, backlighted footswitches. Guitar System Controller (GSC-3/ GSC-2) is the programmable switching device of effects’ loops (looper), the controller which replaces the amp’s footswitch and the MIDI foot controller in one. By pressing just a single footswitch it enables: * to activate selected effects (connected to effects loops), * to set the amp channel and other amp’s functions controlled by its footswitch input, * to select program numbers at MIDI devices (e.g. effects’ processors) and to transmit Control Change type commands. True passive signal path doesn’t contain any active elements (gaining the signal) which could change the guitar tone. All effects and the input buffer are attached by electro-mechanical relays into the signal path (TRUE BYPASSED circuits).

G-LAB MIDI x2 Loop ()

MIDI 2 X LOOP allows to add two additional effects’ loops to the guitar system. M2L is a loops’ switcher controlled by MIDI interface (by Program Change or Control Change commands) or manually, by using the buttons on the top of the device. Using the MIDI commands it is also possible to mute the signal (e.g. for silent tuning). M2L should be controlled by programmable MIDI controller (which enables to program desired No. of PROG CHANGE or CTRL CHANGE command for a given preset). It is particularly recommended as an extension for the G LAB guitar system controllers GSC. Due to its passive signal path it is also possible to use the M2L as an A/B/Y switcher.

Smooth Delay SD-1 is a classic delay with applied MAX ANALOG technology. Analog voice circuit (adjustable attenuation of the high and low frequencies) and SMOOTH function enable SD-1 emulate the effect of classic analog and tape echoes. Backlighted foot knobs and TAP TEMPO function enable easy control on the stage. SD-1 can be also controlled via MIDI.
