Furch Blue Plus OMc-SW is the upgraded model of retired OM21-SW series Cutaway acoustic guitar. The Blue Plus series has high gloss finished top! The Blue Plus OMc-SW includes NEW CNR (Composite Neck Reinforcement) system included, incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole. Orchestra body shape is very popular for finger style players or guitarists need a fast attack response model, or very comfortable playability thanks to small body with less body depth than standard D and G shape guitars have. It has solid Sitka spruce top with high gloss finish, solid walnut back and sides with open pore finish, African mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Furch chrome tuners. The Spruce top has more opened sound with excellent brightness compared to cedar top. After the guitar had been played, the spruce will have more loudness in the middles. Walnut produces warm and tight bass, its sound is between mahogany and rosewood. It produces tight bass with nice bright sound. Included quality Furch gigbag. Serial number is 99616.

Furch Guitars Feature Antibacterial Neck Treatment

The neck is, by nature, one of the most handled areas of any guitar. While playing, a number of microorganisms arise, which can have a negative impact on the player's health. Furch has therefore decided to supplement their current full and open pore neck finishes with a certified antibacterial varnish containing silver nanoparticles. These bind to the proteins of microorganisms, reliably destroying them. However, the varnish does not contain any dangerous chemical substances, making it anti-allergenic and extra gentle on the skin.
In addition to protecting the player’s health, the composition of the new antibacterial varnish also has a positive effect on playing comfort. The satin finish is even more smooth which reduces friction at the hand while moving along the neck of the guitar, allowing for faster and more accurate playing.

This new antibacterial varnish is standard on all Furch acoustic guitars with serial number 95787 and higher. These instruments are already available at Furch authorized dealers.
