Bourgeois Ricky Skaggs Signature acoustic guitar, made in 1997, serial number: 000866. Bourgeois has become a favorite of many professional country and bluegrass players, such as Ricky Skaggs, Bryan Sutton and Sean Watkins. This guitar has near the same specs as Bourgeois D-150 has except of Sitka top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The sound is quite beefy, typical of Bourgeois dreadnoughts. The action is very fast making fast solos effortless to play. The Sitka Spruce top is responsive and more mellow on the top end. The Indian rosewood gives balance and warmth, and coupled with Sitka Spruce brings strong foundations, quick response, warm, round trebles and on the Sitka top the guitar can be strummed or finger-picked easily. The nut width is 45mm, strings spacing is 56,6mm at bridge! It has a repaired crack on top that has been repaired by professional luthier. The playability is perfect. The guitar is equipped with a built in LR Baggs pickup. Original hard case is included.
