Epiphone by Gibson Sheraton II 1986 Bigsby exc+++

Epiphone by Gibson Sheraton II 1986 Bigsby upgrade, original bridge and original hard case are included as well, both in excellent condition. In 1986 Henry J. and his company bought Gibson and decided to offer a line of Korean-made Epiphones. With bottom-line increasing cost-cutting in place, one of the first of these models was the "Sheraton II" which was only offered with full-sized humbuckers, stop tailpieces and was named "Sheraton II" to avoid confusion with the Matsumoku-made Sheraton that was still in production. Another distinction was the use of the "Epiphone By Gibson" headstock logos on the Korean-made Epiphones. This early Korean-made line was made by Samick. This Epiphone by Sheraton was made in the first year producion and it is very rare to find an other one. It has 60's slim taper neck profile and it is very confortable to play. It is a great guitar in this value. The former owner installed an original gold Bigsby on the guitar, that works perfectly. Original tune-o-matic bridge, tailpiece and pickguard are included as well. If the buyer requires we will fit them back on the guitar. Original hard case with Epiphone label is included.
