The Larrivee D-40 acoustic guitar is built from all solid wood, with a Sitka spruce top, sapele back and sides and a single piece mahogany neck. These woods provide a clear, powerful sound with excellent articulation. The Larrivee Legacy series has Scalloped Hybrid bracing pattern is a unique Larrivee designed feature. The instrument has a luxurious satin finish as a final attractive touch. The neck of the D-40 is hand-fitted using a traditional dovetail joint for maximum strength and excellent tone. Further tonal improvement is supplied by the 1 11/16" (42,9mm) wide bone nut, and fully compensated bone saddle with 2-3/16" (55,56mm) strings spacing. Fingerboard has 17" - 21" Compound Radius. The ebony fingerboard and bridge and synthetic tortoiseshell pickguard keep the instrument looking elegant. The scale length is 650mm (25,5"). Quality hard case included.
