Eastman DT30 D acoustic guitar with Double Top Sitka Spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The Double Top consists of 2 thin pieces of Spruce adjoined by a honeycomb material called Nomex invented by DuPont that was originally designed for use in the aerospace industry. Double tops have been used in Classical guitars, but Eastman has figured out a way to use it in the construction of some of their amazing steel string guitars. These guitars are more resonant, responsive. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides gives well defined tight bass and so good dynamic headroom for this guitar. It has African mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard. The nut width is 1 3/4", scale length is 25.4" Dreadnought body shape is very popular for hard strumming and bluegrass / country and folk style players or guitarists need the most versatile playability model.
