Furch Yellow G-CR is similar model to old G23 series with Full-pore High Gloss top, back & sides finish, and solid Western cedar top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. NEW CNR (Composite Neck Reinforcement) system included, incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole. The Yellow Gc-CR is perfect for most of the modern finger style players and so good for strumming play style as well. The solid western cedar top gives warm and round sound, the solid Indian rosewood back and sides gives well defined tight bass and so good dynamic headroom for this guitar. It has African mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard. The nut width is 45mm, scale length is 650mm. The bridge and pins are ebony as well. The Abalone inlay rosette looks great. Fingerboard has "Eclipse" inlay design with circles made of white pearl. The body has artificial Tortoise binding with five-layer black & white contrast line. The tuners are japan made Gotoh 510. Hiscox hard case included. Serial number is 115082.

Furch Guitars Feature Antibacterial Neck Treatment

The neck is, by nature, one of the most handled areas of any guitar. While playing, a number of microorganisms arise, which can have a negative impact on the player's health. Furch has therefore decided to supplement their current full and open pore neck finishes with a certified antibacterial varnish containing silver nanoparticles. These bind to the proteins of microorganisms, reliably destroying them. However, the varnish does not contain any dangerous chemical substances, making it anti-allergenic and extra gentle on the skin.
In addition to protecting the player’s health, the composition of the new antibacterial varnish also has a positive effect on playing comfort. The satin finish is even more smooth which reduces friction at the hand while moving along the neck of the guitar, allowing for faster and more accurate playing.

This new antibacterial varnish is standard on all Furch acoustic guitars with serial number 95787 and higher. These instruments are already available at Furch authorized dealers.
