Martin 00-42SC John Mayer Custom guitar. This "00" 12-fret guitar made in the Martin Custom Shop workshop of solid cocobolo sides, back and headplate and solid selected Sitka spruce top. The gorgeous "42" style appointments shows luxury design and is inspired by the 00-45SC built in collaboration with John Mayer in 2012. The "SC" stands for stage-coach, harkening back to an era when guitars were taken on trains, wagons and horses for bringing people together in song. The bracing is standard "X" Scalloped (Golden Era Style). The neck is made of selected Hardwood with modified V shape and has a solid black Ebony fingerboard. The scale length is 24.9" (632,46mm), the fingerboard width at nut is 1-7/8" (47,6mm), at 12th Fret is 2-5/16" (58,7mm). The bridge string spacing is 2-5/16" (58,7mm). The tuning Machines are Waverly Brass Open-Geared with small Ivoroid buttons. Custom Shop Martin Case included.
