Collings 001MH Figured Mahogany

This custom Collings 001 built with unique and highly figured flame mahogany top and back and sides, and ivoroid body binding, Sn.:27932. The flame mahogany timber has unique figures from center to sides with same width of flame figures and it is very hard to find this kind of timbre in the world. The sounding is also unique as smooth warm ringing with huge sustain. The 00 model in its original, 12-fret configuration, a guitar shape that was first designed around the time of the Civil War. Its dimensions are similar to a typical classical guitar, with a slotted headstock and small pyramid bridge. The comfortable size and timeless appearance of the Collings 00 is matched by the ease of playing a wide neck and shorter string scale affords. This 001 has all flame unique mahogany body and it gives warm and smooth sounding with extremely good sustain. The Waverly Vintage tuner has nickel finished. The mahogany neck has ebony fingerboard, the nut is 46mm (1 13/16") wide. It has 58,7mm (2 5/16") string spacing and 631,8mm (24 7/8") scale length. Luxury Collings hardcase included.
