This custom made Furch has built of highest grade tonewoods and some custom design to personalize. It has solid Sinker Redwood top and solid AA grade Cocobolo back and sides. Redwood is found only along California’s northern coast and is valued not only for its beauty, but for its light weight and resistance to both fire and decay. Logs were hauled to the river through many dams. When the river swelled from rain, the dams would be dynamited open, allowing all the logs to rush downriver to the sawmill - except, of course, for those logs buried beneath the river’s bottom. Year after year, more and more sinkers settled into the silt and mud. Having a fabulous tight grain, after 150 years of resting in rivers rich with minerals, sinker redwood almost glows with an infusion of burgundy, blond, red, purple, and brown tones. It has one piece Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge, solid Indian rosewood inlay rosette and 24 series fingerboard inlays, Indian rosewood body binding is custom option, Schaller tuners is standard. The scale length is 710mm and the nut width is 45,5mm. The strings spacing is 56mm at the bridge. The tunung starts from low B to high B as it is standard for baritone guitars. The depth of body at bottom is 123mm and 93mm at neck joint. Width at Lower bout is 410mm, upper bout is 297mm. The guitar includes a Hiscox hardcase.
