Anderson Cobra is a short-scale guitar. A shorter, 24 3/4-inch scale length means less string tension, fatter mids, and greater easement of bending and reaching. Cobra has aggressive midrange by virtue of a mahogany foundation. The Cobra body is attentively hand-selected pure mahogany. The neck has a sleek and fast mahogany back, embraced by a premium quality figured Ziricote fingerboard (instead of rosewood). For many, many players, Cobra is the perfect, "I can do it all, and more" guitar. The body finish is Cherry Burst. The headstock finish is matched to body color. The neck back shape is Happy Medium, the frets are medium Anderson made exclusive stainless steel. This Cobra Special has Vintage tremolo. All hardware and locking tuners have chrome finish. The neck pickup is the hum-cancelled Anderson PH1, in the bridge position there is an PH3 pickup with open face nickel cover. The electronics has 5-Way pickup selector switch and push-pull pot for 2 pickups coil split. If the pickup selector stands in middle position (both pickups are on) then it is able to split the coils of both pickups by the push-pull Tone pot.
