Eastman MD505 mandolin A-Style. The Eastman MD505 is individually hand-built using traditional materials and craftsmanship. The hand carved top was made of solid spruce, the back and sides are made of solid flamed maple. The ebony bridge is fitted and adjustable. There is a 12" radiused ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays on the 176 mm (6 15/16") long flamed maple neck. Bone nut width: 27,8mm (1 3/32"). The A-style body with F-holes gives warm, ringing tones and excellent sound projection. The finish is high-gloss classic sunburst lacquer. The MD505 is equipped with nickel Schaller tuners.
