Eastman MD815 F-Style mandolin. The Eastman MD815 is individually hand-crafted using time-honored and premium hand-carved tone woods. This mandolin-type is mostly popular in Bluegrass-style music. The hand carved top was made of solid Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are made of solid highly-flamed maple. The ebony bridge is fitted and adjustable. There is a 12" radiused ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays on the 176 mm (6 15/16") long flamed maple neck. Scale length: 352mm (13 7/8"), bone nut width: 27,8mm (1 3/32"). The F-style body with F-holes gives warm, ringing tones and excellent sound projection. The finish is high-gloss classic sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer. The MD815 is equipped with Vintage nickel Schaller tuners. High quality fitted hard case included.
