The squareneck National Scheerhorn Mahogany Birtch-Ply model features a L-style body made of mahogany and birtch plywood construction, famous for its rich, warm tone. Inside is Tim Scheerhorn's famed open-chamber design with six soundposts, internal sound baffle, and the special handspun Scheerhorn cone. The cast spider bridge is capped with maple bridge inserts and the classic fan coverplate. The neck is made of matching mahogany with mother-of-pearl dot inlays on the ebony fretboard that's embellished with curly ivoroid binding. The guitar is stylishly finished with Scheerhorn's unique dual open soundhole rings, a traditional tailpiece, and chrome-plated hardware. The National Scheerhorn Mahogany Birtch-Ply comes with hardcase and certificate.
