Martin D-35E 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Dreadnought acoustic guitar To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic D-35 model, the D-35E 50th Anniversary Limited Edition features a European spruce top with Vintage Tone System (VTS) combined with East Indian rosewood sides and back wings with an organic East Indian rosewood wedge and maple bindings. The organic wedge is also inlayed on the East Indian rosewood headplate. A black ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Fishman Aura VT electronics complete this model that commemorates an important milestone in Martin Guitar's history. This model includes "Sustainable Wood Certified" parts. The new Martin Vintage Tone System (VTS) uses a unique recipe that is based on the historic torrefaction system. The VTS acts much like a time machine in which Martin can target certain time periods and age the top and braces to that era. This focused method allows Martin's craftsmen and women to recreate not only the pleasing visual aesthetics of a vintage guitar, but also reproduce the special tones previously reserved for vintage instruments. The top is European Spruce with VTS, back and sides are East Indian Rosewood. The neck has been made of genuine Mahogany with ebony fingerboard, the scale length is 25.4" (645mm), the bone nut width is 1 3/4" (44,45mm). The neck profile is modified low oval. The saddle is compensated white Tusq, string spacing is 2 3/16'' (55,56mm) at the bridge. Quality plywood hard case is included.
