1964 Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue

1964 Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue

We offer an original, early 1964 (PRE-CBS) made Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue finished guitar with CITES certificate. The Lake Placid Blue body finish is a Fender custom-color option and makes this guitar extra collectible piece. The guitar has the “7 LPB" sign which is stamped into the body under the pickguard, what is one of the strongest proof of originality. The neck code is 2 Jan 64B indicates the neck produced in Jan of 1964 with a "B" profile, potentiometer manufacturing date codes indicates a Stackpole potentiometer produced during the 3rd week of 1964. The gold-color three patent number Fender "spaghetti logo" on peghead decal was used from 1962 through fall 1964 by Fender, and the "single-line" Kluson Deluxe tuners with metal buttons is also unique mark of the 1964 made Stratocaster. The guitar has 21-fret Brazilian rosewood veneer fingerboard with narrow clay-dot inlays which was in use from mid of 1963 through Feb of 1965. The electronic parts and soldering seems untouched since production made in 1964. We have made over 200 photos of the guitar (also black lite photos included) and we can send any of them for necessary requests. We do not offer shipping of the guitar (it is the risk of buyer to collect it by shipping), we prefer collection and sales in the shop.
