This BK Slope D Banjo Killer guitar is a replica of the famous guitar built for Bryan Sutton that he dubbed "The Banjo Killer". It features Premium Bearclaw Sitka Spruce and incredibly figured flamed Mahogany back and sides. Like the original it has ivoroid body binding on the neck and body with no binding on the Ziricote veneer headstock. The neck is one piece mahogany. The fingerboard and belly bridge are beautiful Ziricote wood. Scale length: 25 1/2" (647mm), nut width: 1 23/32" (43.65mm), string spacing at bridge: 2.2" (55.8mm). The bridge pins are Ebony with Abalone dots. The BK slope shouldered dreadnought is only about 1/4" (0.63cm) wider than a standard dreadnought, but what a difference! You can hear the guitar clearly in a loud jam session without feeling like you have to overplay and also enjoy a full and sustained tone when you want to play softly. The instrument is fitted with nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons. Hard case included. Serial number is 007821.
