Quite unusually, this rosewood neck Reissue style instrument displays no other serial number than “15 of 30.” It does have a “Fender Custom Shop” decal on the back of the headstock and a “Fender Custom Shop” symbol on the four-bolt back plate. It has an attractive East Indian rosewood fingerboard with 10 dot inlays; the gold plating is still fresh, including the gold string tree on the headstock. It displays three standard Stratocaster pickups with staggered poles, a double Fender stamp (in opposite directions on each part) on each of the individual and adjustable saddle pieces (these are also gold plated), and is fitted with a five-way switch for pickup selection.
