The short-shaft tuners is the replacement tuners for the high 3 strings (E1, B2, G3) and 4 x Long-shaft tuners for the rest of strings (D4, A5, E6 and low B). It is recommended to measure the thickness of the headstock before order this set, some guitars has thicker headstock is not available the Short-shaft tuners to use.
