Gibson Hummingbird Custom made in 1973 Kalamazoo. The guitar is in excellent condition without any cracks or repair. It has only the signs of the use of 40 years. We installed the Carlos VIP pick up for the owner in 2012, but he decided to sell the guitar now. The Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides this guitar has a depth and richness to it's tone that is just inspirational to play. The neck is very comfortable to play without any buzz. It has the classic vintage Gibson vibe, a beautiful bound neck with block inlays, and possibly the most distinctive of all Gibson pick guards. The fingerboard is rosewood with square inlays and bindings. The cherry finish turning amber over the years. It's proof that some 70's Gibsons sound as good as their more collectable 60's examples, but for much less money. Unfortunately the original hard case missed but it comes with a high quality Hiscox hard case. Serial no.:A000919
