Furch Green SR acoustic guitar, it is a replacement model of Furch Millenium 22-SR series guitars with Full-Pore Satin Finish top, back & sides finish, and solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The Green D-SR includes NEW CNR (Composite Neck Reinforcement) system included, incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole. Dreadnought body shape is very popular for hard strumming and bluegrass / country and folk style players or guitarists need the most versatile playability model. It has African mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Furch chrome tuners. The nut width is 45mm on this guitar and the strings spacing is 55mm at the bridge. The Spruce top has more opened sound with excellent brightness and compared to cedar top. After the guitar had been played, the spruce will have more loudness in the middles. Indian rosewood produces tight detailed and dynamic bass response. Hiscox hardcase included.

Furch Guitars Feature Antibacterial Neck Treatment

The neck is, by nature, one of the most handled areas of any guitar. While playing, a number of microorganisms arise, which can have a negative impact on the player's health. Furch has therefore decided to supplement their current full and open pore neck finishes with a certified antibacterial varnish containing silver nanoparticles. These bind to the proteins of microorganisms, reliably destroying them. However, the varnish does not contain any dangerous chemical substances, making it anti-allergenic and extra gentle on the skin.
In addition to protecting the player’s health, the composition of the new antibacterial varnish also has a positive effect on playing comfort. The satin finish is even more smooth which reduces friction at the hand while moving along the neck of the guitar, allowing for faster and more accurate playing.

This new antibacterial varnish is standard on all Furch acoustic guitars with serial number 95787 and higher. These instruments are already available at Furch authorized dealers.
