Which are the best strings on my acoustic guitar?

It was a frequently asked question by our clients, that's why we decided to make this demo.

About the guitar we used on this demo

The guitar is Furch Green Gc-SR has solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, with Grand Auditorium Cutaway body shape, standard 25.5" scale length. More info about this guitar here https://bit.ly/3bTmKvk
We tested the Furch factory used Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze, D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze, Martin Authentic 80/20 Bronze and Ernie Ball Aluminium Bronze strings sets.

What is the recording gears in the signal chain?

The sound and video recording made by Ernö Galambos CEO of Stageshop.
We used Mid-side microphone technique with a Neumann KM 184 spotted to neck joint and Austrian Audio OC818 captured Left-Right ambient. We used UAD Apollo mic preamp and AD converter and ProTools DAW. No EQ or any effects used on the recording.

Conclusion!

None of the tested strings are better than the others but all of them give their own sound character to the guitar. So i would
recommend trying different types and brands of strings on your favorite acoustic guitars to experience the tone and flavors yourself. Do not believe the marketing crap the advertised subscriptions. Trust your ears and you will find the best strings for each of your favorite guitars.
