The Furch Blue G-CM Grand Auditorium body acoustic guitar is the replacement model of the recent Furch G20-CM guitar. NEW CNR (Composite Neck Reinforcement) system included, incorporates a composite reinforcement, which improves neck durability and extends the lifespan of the guitar as a whole. The new Blue G-CM has the tortoise texture pickguard with extended transparent pickguard parts to make more protection of the top. Grand Auditorium body shape is a perfect choice for strumming and solo play styles at the same time. It has well balanced sounding in all frequency response. Blue G-CM has solid cedar top, solid mahogany back and sides with open pore finish. The African mahogany neck has ebony fingerboard and 650mm (25,5") scale length. The bridge is ebony as well. It has Furch chrome tuners. High quality gig bag with Furch logo included, but it is available to upgrade to Hiscox hardcase. Serial number 103389.

Furch Guitars Feature Antibacterial Neck Treatment

The neck is, by nature, one of the most handled areas of any guitar. While playing, a number of microorganisms arise, which can have a negative impact on the player's health. Furch has therefore decided to supplement their current full and open pore neck finishes with a certified antibacterial varnish containing silver nanoparticles. These bind to the proteins of microorganisms, reliably destroying them. However, the varnish does not contain any dangerous chemical substances, making it anti-allergenic and extra gentle on the skin.
In addition to protecting the player’s health, the composition of the new antibacterial varnish also has a positive effect on playing comfort. The satin finish is even more smooth which reduces friction at the hand while moving along the neck of the guitar, allowing for faster and more accurate playing.

This new antibacterial varnish is standard on all Furch acoustic guitars with serial number 95787 and higher. These instruments are already available at Furch authorized dealers.
